Training for therapists: understanding your clients' medication.
Understanding your clients' medication gives you an insight into the severity of their condition, helps you judge whether their symptoms might be side effects, and gives you a working knowledge of the medical treatment of the conditions they consult you for. As a practising pharmacist since 1991, a former lecturer in pharmacy at Keele University, and an experienced hypnotherapist, I have written these courses to help you understand your client's drug treatment in a way that improves your approach to their therapy.

Who these courses are for
Hypnotherapists, counsellors, psychotherapists and coaches who want to understand the medicines their clients are taking well enough to work with them rather than around them. No science background is needed. I pitch these for practitioners, not pharmacists.
The courses run online, in half-day sessions with time for questions. You will leave knowing what the common medicines do, what clients tend to notice when they start or stop them, and when a symptom might be the medicine rather than the person. If you would like a course run for your team or service, ask me.
